Appointments for Doctors
Due to the current situation with Covid-19 we are currently only seeing Urgent patients in the surgery.
Due to the current Coronavirus situation the practice is not operating at full capacity so we are limiting face to face contacts. When you phone one of our highly experienced and trusted staff will discuss with you the nature of your call and where appropriate a clinician will phone back for a telephone or video consultation. All patients have a ‘usual GP’ and we ask that you ensure your appointment is booked in with that GP to ensure the best possible flow of care.
We will not be testing for Coronavirus at the surgery.
We are now operating a SMS text reminder service for all GP pre-bookable appointments (and some Nurse appointments), 24 hours prior to your appointment with us. Please make sure you have given your consent and current mobile phone number to us in order to benefit from this service.
We do have some pre-bookable appointments available online each morning. All of our on-line appointments are telephone consultations only where a GP will phone you. Please DO NOT come into the surgery for these appointments and ensure that the telephone number we have saved for you is up to date before booking.
If you are unable to attend the Surgery, please request visits before 10.00am, if at all possible, on the day the visit is required. Non-urgent calls received after this time may be delayed until the following day. Home visits are at the discretion of the doctor. Please do not ask the doctor to call unless the patient is too ill or too infirm to come to the surgery. Please remember that we are very busy and can often speak to patients more promptly over the telephone or by Video consultation.
If you have booked a video consultation with one of our clinicians please click the link below 5 minutes before your appointment time to join our online waiting room:
PLEASE ASK FOR YOUR USUAL GP WHEN BOOKING APPOINTMENTS.
